Vibe-coded app rescue · Lovable, Bolt, Replit, v0, Cursor
Vibe-coded app falling over? We keep it standing.
AI tools get an app from idea to demo in a weekend. Real users, real traffic and real data are a different test. When your app falls over in production, our engineers get it back up, find what will break next, and keep it running. No lecture, and no rebuild unless it truly needs one.
- Back up and stable, usually within days
- Exposed keys, open databases and runaway bills locked down first
- Keep what you built: we fix it, we do not start over
- Then a small monthly retainer so it stays up as you grow

The story we keep hearing
The demo was perfect. Launch day was not.
- 01
It gets built fast
A marketer, a founder or an agency builds the app with AI. It looks right, it works on their laptop, and everyone is excited.
- 02
It meets the real world
Launch traffic arrives. Pages time out, logins fail, a key turns up in the browser, the database bill jumps. Nobody on the team wrote the code, so nobody knows where to look.
- 03
Someone takes it over
Engineers who read the code the AI wrote, stop the bleeding, fix what will break next, and set it up to be looked after properly.

Why vibe-coded apps fall over
The same handful of gaps, almost every time.
AI writes code that works for one person on one laptop. It rarely writes the parts nobody asked for. These are the gaps we find most often, and they are all fixable without starting again.
Secrets in the browser
API keys for payments, email or AI models shipped to every visitor, where anyone can copy them and run up your bill.
An open database
Access rules left off, so one signed-in user can read or change everyone else's records.
Fine for ten, fails at a thousand
Queries with no indexes, images with no limits and functions that time out once real traffic arrives.
Works in preview, breaks in production
Missing environment settings, a different database, or a deploy straight from someone's laptop with no way back.
No one is watching
No error alerts, no backups, no staging site, and every fix asked of the AI breaks something else. You hear about problems from customers.
A recent rescue
A global product launch, and an app falling over every few hours.
A marketing agency built a campaign platform with AI to run a global consumer brand's product launch across eight countries. It worked well at small scale. The launch needed far more.
What broke
The app was falling over every few hours, each fix caused a new fault, and messages went out that were never meant to.
Why it was stuck
One person had built it with AI and was the only one who could maintain it, just as they were needed elsewhere.
What we were brought in to do
Take over the backend for the launch window: stabilise it, stop the regressions and keep the campaign running, so the agency could get back to its own work.
- 8countries in the launch
- 8xthe load the app was built for
- 6 weeksof life support through the launch
How a rescue works
Stop the bleeding, then make it last.
- 01
Triage
We get access, get it back up and lock down anything exposed. You get a plain-English list of what we found, ranked by what could hurt you first.
- 02
Stabilise
We fix what will break next, add monitoring and backups, and set up a staging site and a safe way to deploy. Scoped as a fixed piece of work before we start.
- 03
Look after it
A small monthly maintenance retainer with a project manager who knows the app, so new features land without new fires.
Who calls us
Marketers, founders and the agencies behind them.
Marketing teams
You built a campaign app, calculator, portal or microsite with AI and it is now carrying real customers. You need engineers, not a full-time hire.
Agencies
You shipped an AI-built app for a client and it is struggling. We can work behind your brand, white label, so the client relationship stays yours.
Founders
Your prototype found customers faster than you expected. We make it hold up while you decide what comes next.
Who you would be working with
The team behind Afterpay's websites
We have been part of Afterpay's team since 2020, keeping its consumer and business websites fast and stable across its markets. The same engineers take on AI rescues, and we use AI in our own work every day, so we know where it shines and where it cuts corners.

Not many agencies quite literally help you extend your team. Diji has not just been an agency partner to fulfil needs, they've been a strategic ally who builds solutions.Joe Ahn, Growth Marketing Lead
Questions we get asked
Which tools do you work with?
Apps built with Lovable, Bolt, Replit, v0, Cursor, Claude Code and similar tools, usually running on Supabase or Firebase and hosted on Vercel or Netlify. If it is code, we can read it.
Is my vibe-coded app secure?
Often not yet. The most common gaps are API keys visible in the browser, database access rules switched off, and no limits on how often anyone can call your backend. Our triage checks all three first, and we fix them before anything else.
Supabase says "RLS disabled in public". What does that mean?
Row level security is off on a table, so anyone with your app's public key can read or change every row in it, not just their own. It is the single most common hole in Lovable and Bolt apps, and usually one of the first things we fix.
Will you make us rebuild it?
Usually not. Most AI-built apps need a few weeks of focused fixes, not a rewrite. If a rebuild really is the cheaper path, we will show you why before you spend anything on it.
Our app is down right now. How fast can you start?
Fill in the form or email hello@dijitally.com and a person replies the same working day. Triage starts as soon as we have access.
Can you work behind our agency's brand?
Yes. We work white label for agencies, and the client relationship stays with you.
Do you just fix it, or look after it too?
Both. Most rescues move onto a small monthly retainer so the app keeps up as you add features and users.
Where are you based?
Sydney, working across Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong, the USA, the UK and Ireland.
Tell us what is breaking.
A link to the app and a sentence on what is going wrong is enough. We will come back with what we would check first.
